6481720265_8485607039_bMinneapolis, Minnesota, is the largest city in the state and one of the top five cities for IT spend. Part of the Twin Cities, which also includes Saint Paul, Minneapolis was nominated as one of 10 best U.S. cities to build wealth by Fortune.

Our Minneapolis team is having a lot of success and a significant impact in the city. For one thing, the market isn’t saturated. There are a lot of opportunities to build a good reputation and to grow as far and as fast as you want. In addition, the market is loyal, if you do well for your clients and candidates then they’ll stick with you. No wonder our Minneapolis office just keeps improving since its launch in 2012.

“We have a really energetic and fun office with great clients, and we’re poised for growth. In the last two months we doubled our placements record so we’re on a great trajectory and adding the right people to the team is going to help”, say Kristen Farnsworth, Managing Director of the Minneapolis office.

Due to this boom, we’re now hiring new people to join our IT Recruitment. As part of this team, you’ll feel like part of a family. Our team is made up of people that are positive and energetic, and we give them the autonomy to drive their own careers. So, as a member, you can help to determine the office’s direction, drive results and be a decision maker with a team that wants to grow with you.

And Minneapolis has a lot to offers to you! Home of four award-winning restaurants and chefs in 2016, you always have a good place to go out for dinner. Also, the city offers some cultural activities, as the Walker Art Center, that’s one of the five largest modern art museums in the US. In addition, you can enjoy the third largest theater market in the U.S., watching amazing performances in the Pence Opera House, the Grand Opera House or The Guthrie Theater.

On Friday August 5, more than 200 people gather in Tampa for the Veredus/Hays Kickoff 2017. With the “Raise the bar” theme, our annual conference joined together all of our US teams to celebrate the company success and recognize the excellent job everyone did this year.

The event started with a breakfast with our leaders, followed by a review of our achievements, and a preview of the next steps we are taking to continuous expanding and transforming business across the US. The teams shared their best practices during this year and we set the business goals and targets to perform even better for this coming year.

Also, we took the opportunity to recognize the amazing work that our teams made and to announce the winners of our trips and internal competitions. They all had a significant impact into the business and they’re the reason we’re one of the leaders in recruitment.

What a day to celebrate! The atmosphere of this year was amazing, everyone in the company attended and they brought lots of energy to the place. It was great to see people from different offices getting along together and having fun. It confirms that we built a strong company culture, made by people that have a great sense of teamwork and are passionate about their jobs.

Many thanks to everybody that made this an amazing Kickoff. It’s the moment to raise the bar and continuous growing together. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event and seeing what results our team will bring.

Want to be in the next year’s kickoff? Join one of our offices across the country!

NYC office July 2016 pic 2New York City, NY, is the biggest city in the US, and probably the busiest. A global hub for international business and commerce, it has strong industries including Real State, Media, Financial Services, and especially Tech. In the heart of New York, the “Silicon Alley” became a hotspot  for the high tech industries and it’s expanding since then.

Just a few blocks from there is the Hays New York Office. Started in 2010, our office moved to Midtown Manhattan in 2014 and operates with 4 specialisms: Construction & Property, Life Sciences, IT and Accounting & Finance. Close to Penn Station and Madison Square Gardens, our office significantly expanded in the last few years thanks to a diverse market that has always multiples projects to work on. To support our team’s continuous success, we’re looking to add new recruiters for our IT and Life Sciences specialisms.

We’ve built a cohesive and performance driven team in New York, which truly has the Hays culture. Work for a team of people who strive every day to be the very best they can possibly be, helping clients and candidates, and growing with the business, while having fun. In addition, the team is committed to the community. For example, this year we are supporting the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 29, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds to fight the disease.

It’s New York City! There’s always something to do. You can visit some of the amazing museums and art galleries, watch a theater play in Broadway and after take a walk in the Times Square. This city never sleeps, but you can find time to relax in the Central Park or watching the sunset from the Brooklyn Bridge. New York is a home to people from all walks of life. Is it the home you’ve been looking for?

If you want to join a company that cares about the people who drive our success in the heart of New York, see our current positions!
